Client is looking for a candidate with 1-3 years' experience to work in a fast paced client oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter with strong benefit experience. The Benefits Specialist reports directly to the Benefits Manager.

The Benefits Specialist is the point of contact for all inquiries and action regarding benefit information, payroll deductions, onboarding and open enrollment.

The role of the Benefit Specialist is a critical one. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for the administration of health and welfare plans maintained by the client.


The Benefit Specialist is responsible specifically to the HR team on a number of levels:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Administers benefit plan enrollments for new hires and/or existing employees during annual open enrollment

Works effectively with each benefit provider to resolve administration and employee issues

Responsible for identifying system issues and working with the Benefit Manager in the correction of master data and potential system changes

Run reports in several benefit portals


Job Requirements

1-3 years' experience with employee benefit and vendors is a must
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
