Creates and closes Purchase Orders

  • Processes acknowledgements of POs from vendors

  • Tracks the status of POs which may include contacting vendors

  • Fields questions from vendors regarding POs

  • Fields internal questions regarding the availability of ordering specific items

  • Organizes, files, and maintains all PO records and acknowledgements


  • Assists in the bi-annual inventory process

    Relevant Procedures

  • Glass; Ordering

  • Pivot Door Order Process

  • Purchase Order Follow-Up

  • Rejected Vendor Material

  • Request to have an Order Pulled

  • Screens; Ordering

  • Sill Pans/Pocket Closers; Ordering

  • Special Finish; Ordering

  • Synchronizing Inventory Manually to Computer


  • Job Requirements

    �Must have basic computer skills that include use of email and Microsoft Word
    �Must have ability to operate standard office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems
    �Must demonstrate accuracy and good organizational skills
