Junior Operations Supervisor - Union, SC

Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, the candidate will :

1. Assist in laying out planning for all daily/weekly/monthly operational activities.

2. Operational Process mapping and procedures setting up. Performance measurement. KPIs.

3. Encourage continuous improvement and Total Quality Management

4. Purchase control. Vendors evaluation.

5. ERP Navision : data analysis

6. Liaison with Maintenance Dept.

7. Represent the Organization during external audits and in front of the different stakeholders

8. Ensuring safety and environmental compliance according to Company's guidelines and policies.

You will receive extensive training over the course of a year, under the Operations Specialist. With this company there is a strong need to understand the business. After the training on all floor operations, is complete, he/she will need to step up and start working with the Ops Mgr to help char out the process, draft procedures and help measure performance. He/she will focus on planning, and followup execution so the employee can thoroughly understand efficiency delivery. Overtime, he/she will enter into the trading side of the business that complements the role towards a full Operations Manager.
