Important Job Duties

The Patient Support Specialist is responsible communicating with customers in a clear, professional manner. Day to day job duties include:

  • Verify insurance coverage

  • Collect appropriate information needed to ensure coverage

  • Update computer systems

  • Contact insurance carriers to resolve coverage issues

  • Respond to messages and support tickets within designated time frames

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, 2 years customer service, insurance, or related field experience, analytical and problem solving skills, proficient in mathematics, knowledge of medical terminology and policies, and able to communicate efficiently in intense situations.
