Our client's printing and packaging facility on Kirk Rd in St. Charles, IL is looking to fill ASAP for 1st shift 7am-3:30pm M-F (schedule subject for change according to business needs) CPU Kitting Trainer, pay ranges from $15 - $18/hr.
You will be able to earn if you can;
Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work; pick a variety of printed materials, place, arrange, mark, and seal items on pallets, containers, bins, and bulk storage.
Count, sort and consolidate various finished products into boxes or containers for shipping.
Consults with department managers and supervisors to assess training needs.
Develops, implements and delivers training programs for CPU operations.
Develops and maintains support materials to be used for reference once training has been completed; maintains trainee personnel records.
Conducts training sessions for all new Kitters.
Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works to assist employees in their daily tasks.
Tests trainees weekly to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training and updates curriculum as needed.
Ensures compliance with established procedures by auditing the performance of the Kitters.
Facilitate orders to Kitters, makes suggestions on improving work procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
Skills and Experience include:
HS degree and a minimum of 6 months relevant experience; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in a warehouse environment is a MUST.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
Required to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
