Staffmark is hiring for a Customer Service Representative for a temporary position in the retail industry. This position is located in the Germantown area in Nashville. The ideal candidate will have great phone etiquette, attention to detail, and previous experience in the customer service industry.

Title: Customer Service Representative

Type: Temporary ; Full-time

Duration: 3-4 months

Pay rate: $15/hour

Shift: M-F 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Location: Germantown/Downtown Nashville area

Job Description

  • Exceptional Customer Service
  • Pleasant telephone voice, understandable, ample loudness without being overly loud

  • Import gift lists

  • Answer high volume inbound calls

  • Orders entered in real time into the AS400 system

  • Trouble shoot client problems in a timely manner, may involve Credit and/or Customer Concern forms
  • Prepare daily order log via Sales Force
  • Work with Holiday Sales Assistants and Office Staff

  • Work with clients whose Christie Cookie Co. experience has not lived up to their expectation

  • Generate Credit and/or Customer Concern forms
    • Trouble shoot client problems in a timely manner
      • Research

      • Offer solutions within outlined parameters

      • Empathize with client situations

      • Patience

  • Track FedEx packages
  • Proofing responsibilities and Data entry during down time

  • File hard copy orders
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Paid onsite training

Skills/Knowledge

  • Proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Understand day-to-day operation of a networked PC
  • Basic operational knowledge of office equipment, i.e. printer, scanner, fax machine
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in conflict resolution
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Work with limited supervision
  • Previous customer service experience

Environment

  • Office environment, sitting, lifting up to 5 lbs on occasion

  • Two story w/ elevator or stair access

  • Parking on or near site

  • Lunch, unpaid 1 hour

Dress

  • Business casual
  • Jeans on Friday-classy only
  • Excellent personal hygiene

Requirements:
High school diploma, previous customer service experience, and ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
