Job Summary

The primary function is to work closely with the On-Site Performance Supervisor to manage a specific shift or site at an Output Solutions model. Responsible for the employees and the productivity of the assigned work area. Continuously monitors and manages productivity to achieve targeted GP% goals and other financial and operational objectives. Supervises temporary employees including monitoring extension or completion of assignments, addressing problems or concerns of temporary employees, coaching, counseling, and taking corrective action with temporary employees.

Duties and Essential Job Functions

  1. Continuously manages productivity to achieve targeted GP% goals and other financial and operational objectives on assigned shift or location.

  2. Continuously monitors productivity to achieve desired cost per unit pricing goals on assigned shift or location.

  3. Primary communication contact with employees on assigned shift or department.

  4. Responsible for providing leadership to the leads on the floor.

  5. Conducts employee orientations – to include policies, procedures, safety, assessment, and job shadowing.

  6. Performs hiring decisions based upon job description requirements.

  7. Performs training based on training matrix and standard operating procedures.

  8. Monitors down time, performs troubleshooting as needed in order to create maximum efficiency.

  9. Manages and motivates workforce and provides necessary on-going training to achieve output targets. Be primary communication contact with employees Assure adequate and visible on-floor presence to effectively manage productivity of the employees.

  10. Conducts final end-of-shift inspection of floor areas.

  11. Conducts employee performance evaluations and reviews.

  12. Monitors employee production efficiency and quality. Conduct coaching, counseling and make prompt management decisions on employee issues.

  13. Performs and maintains production and quality reporting daily, posting productivity records at the end of each shift.

  14. Completes and submits all reports, forms, and requests, as required in a timely manner.

  15. Monitors arrival time and attendance of employees and perform daily tracking of absenteeism.

  16. Performs on-site risk management and ensure safety guidelines are followed according to Staffmark and customer rules.

  17. Monitors employee work areas for safety and cleanliness.

  18. Complies and conforms to Output Solutions operating procedures manual.

  19. Promptly and adequately communicates issues to Output Solutions Performance Manager and Staffmark team.

  20. Customer specific responsibilities as communicated by customer.

  21. Conducts training based on training matrix and standard operating procedures.

  22. Completes daily checklist.

  23. Flexible work hours may be required.

  24. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of direct supervision of a production team and managing a production line, or an equivalent of 6 years combination of education and experience. 2.Knowledge of, and ability to use Microsoft Office products. 3.Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills.
