Receptionist/ Office Assistant - Long Beach, CA

Pay Rate/Salary: $14.00 - $16.00

The receptionist creates FedEx airbills and UPS shipping documents on line when requested the staff members and checks FedEx and UPS billings to ensure that appropriate amounts are charged to the correct facility or department.
Distributes incoming mail to staff mail folders daily. Processes outgoing mail and distributes office supplies in the absence of the mailroom clerk.
Updates corporate office phone lists and personnel by department listings monthly, and speed dial list as required.
Assists other departments with various projects.
The receptionist helps with data input, filing, typing, sorting, stuffing envelopes, shredding, and anything else to assist other employees in finishing their tasks and is expected to ask for jobs when slow at the front desk.
