We are working with a client in the East Liberty area and they are looking for an Account Manager with a background in software/solution sales to fill an immediate need. This is an awesome opportunity with a growing company! This is commission and bonus heavy and an immediate book of business will be available to the incoming Account Manager. The Account Manager drive sales campaigns to acquire new customer accounts while maintaining and expanding sales in current customer accounts. Develop and maintain a pipeline of consistent new and renewal sales activity.
Become and expert in our customer's business functions, product offerings, development roadmap, and development and purchasing personnel. Analyze and document trends within customer accounts and software industry
Keep a consistent, open and positive line of communication with all key accounts under your direction while maintaining detailed and accurate records in the CRM for key customers including: roadmap and organizational notes, corporate organizational charts, up-to-date contact names, email addresses, phone numbers and physical address.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our highly technical product line sales cycle and related business functions.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical support, and product development teams to satisfy customer needs. Offer suggestions to provide better customer experience and improve sales processes and procedures.
Identifying strategic partnership opportunities: Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Systems Integrators (SIs)
BA/BS in a technical discipline is preferred. Minimum of 3 yearsÃ¢â¬â¢ experience and a proven track record of success in solution and/or software selling. Experience or understanding of software development is a plus, but not required. Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent listening and problem solving skills; as well as the ability to understand customer business requirements. Excellent communication skills; personable, well-spoken, at ease in front of executives/decision makers. High level of energy, persistence and desire to exceed expectations Excellent time management skills required along with ability to multi-task. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while handling customer emergencies. Strong PC skills (MS Office) Ability to consistently meet commitments Possess a high standard of ethical conduct
