Customer Relations Specialist - Charleston, SC

Pay Rate/Salary: $13.00 - $15.00

• Manage relationship with customers; focusing on long-term development of relationships. • Manage weekly and daily order processing (EDI and Syspro) from order submission through customer’s business system to order closing in Syspro. • Track orders in our system; coordinate with warehouse. • Coordinate internal efforts and communication to meet optimal order fill. • Analyze customer vendor reports to resolve issues and identify opportunities for efficiency. • Create and present daily and weekly reports. • Assist accounting department with reports needed for month end close • Communicate weekly with customers on products and order status. • Advise on back orders for forecasting purposes. • Process customer payments and follow up on discrepancies and manage customer collections. • Comply with federal, state, local and anti-trust requirements. • Protect operations by keeping business strategies, trade secrets and financials confidential. • Ensure compliance with anti-trust regulations, including communicating concerns, liabilities or unethical activities. • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Associate degree or a combination of education and experience with technology • Excellent customer service skills. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office with higher level of Excel proficiency. • Good analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills. • Strong critical thinking and math skills. • Accuracy and attention to detail. • Desire to learn and improve.
