Seeking an Assistant Project Manager – HR to help support a temporary need at a global, well-known company headquartered in San Francisco, CA. This is a project role (6-8 weeks)

Group: HR Business Partner team. Will report to HR Project Manager

Manager Notes on Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in project initiation documentation such as developing detailed project plans and schedules using standard project management methodology

• Experience in developing business case documentation capturing the reasoning for initiating a project or task that is well-structured and explains the usage of resources (money and effort consumed) to support the specific business need.

Formal Job Description:

Job Summary - Project Manager for medium and large-scale project initiatives that support business projects driving process, people and technology transformation

• Track, manage and publish Program / Projects status and budget on monthly basis

• Lead and manage teams (may include employees, third-party vendors and/or LS&Co. consultants) to plan and drive project execution (on-time, budget, scope); Also manage vendor's contracts

• Manage and coordinate the development of detailed project plans and schedules using established standard project methodology

• Develop and coordinate the development of checkpoint documentation as required by the project Governance and Methodology process. Present and coordinate the presentation of program / project checkpoints for stakeholder and leadership approvals

• Drive timely decisions by key stakeholders in the context of the overall program and assigned projects relative to scope, schedule, costs/benefits

• Manage the gathering of multiple sources of project related data and input (technical, business functional, financial), then summarize and provide conclusions for LS&Co. leadership to utilize for project based decisions and actions.

• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with project sponsors (business and IT), vendors and key clients

• Be accountable for the successful delivery of the overall Employee Experience program, projects and its deliverables

• Partner with Corporate Communications Sponsor(s) to communicate the program strategy and approach to appropriate stakeholders

• Partner with the IT Project Manager(s) to proactively manage the project and to communicate project progress, performance and results to leadership

• Collaborate with project team to identify potential project risks and assist with the development of preventative plans
