Administration of employee benefits such as annual enrollment and new hire enrollment
Develop and training presentations for policy & procedures as well as new hire orientation, and new hire benefit orientation
Recruiting office and warehouse hourly employees, interviewing candidates, providing new hire orientation and proper training of new hires on policies and procedures
Weekly/monthly reporting (monthly staffing report, weekly departmental report, accrual report)
Handle hourly employee change requests (401k, W4, status changes, personal loans)
Maintain hourly employee's payroll through ADP, by emailing daily reports to managers and inputting exceptions, accrued leave, and incentives
Research proper/effective job description formats and assist in reviewing and updating all active job descriptions within the facility
Work with staffing agency regarding recruiting, time/attendance for temporary/permanent positions
Communicate SC Kravet News emails and texts
Provide pertinent documentation to corporate office and management (copies employee documents, disciplinary forms)
Assist in the creation of new policies and procedures including implementation
Assist on or advise committees/special projects as needed
Advise employees and management on HR policies, programs and procedures
Cross train and support all HR functions
Manage and respond to unemployment claims
Work closely with HR Manager on daily basis

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS - Associates degree preferred - Minimum of two to 4 years of job-related experience, in a human resource department - Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate dialog and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - PHR certification or SHRM-CP certification strongly preferred - Knowledge of office administration procedures. - Attention to detail is a MUST.
