Pay Rate/Salary: $15.00 - $16.00
The Recruiter provides human resources services for Staffmark's customer, but not limited to, making decisions relating to recruiting, hiring, placement, discipline, and termination of temporary employees. This position will be located in Elwood, Il area.
Experience with recruiting and sourcing candidates. Experience and/or ability to work in a fast-paced environment and working under pressure. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills. General knowledge of various employment laws and practices. Strong Microsoft skills with Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to effectively plan, organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Problem solving skills and ability to change priorities quickly. Strong customer service skills required.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Interacts with the hiring manager to evaluate and assess the staffing needs.
Evaluates and interviews applicants for open positions.
Evaluates temporary employees and determines who best meets the needs of Staffmark's customers, while at the same time evaluating the needs and skills of the temporary employees.
Assist in performing reference, background check and drug screenings for potential employees.
Responsible for formulating and presenting the orientation that will ensure the employee is able to meet the specific needs of each position and for the customer as well as evaluating and answering questions that arise during the orientation process.
Serves as a liaison between the customer and temporary employees to create and implement processes to meet the human resources needs of the customer and Staffmark's temporary employees.
Evaluates worksite performance of the temporary employees and makes decisions regarding appropriate measures to resolve disciplinary issues.
Create and implement a tracking tool to collect and interpret data-based measurements to demonstrate the effectiveness or failure of the recruitment process from position opening to onboarding.
