Job Duties Include

  • Verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Preparing items for shipment by doing a final inspection for accuracy by reviewing all final paperwork.
  • Reviewing the count, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Determining the most most cost effective method for shipment, utilizing knowledge of procedures, routes and rates, and prepare product for shipment.
  • Receiving of product and ensure there are no damages, and enter into the system to route it to the right location in the warehouse.
  • Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

Minimum of one year experience as shipping and receiving clerk or relevant warehouse work experience. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook) and other computer applications such as email, preferably in a warehouse work environment. Effective multi-tasking skills
