PowerPoint Presentation Operator - New York, NY

The Presentations operator is a key member of the on-site team delivering exceptional customer service at our client location. Responsibilities include oversight of PowerPoint presentation creation, extensive graphing and charting in Excel, and general desktop publishing duties.

• Produce high-quality pitch books, presentations, and ad hoc design projects

• Import and revise graphics files as necessary

• Create and edit multi-page/multi-section documents using templates and style sheets for pitch books, graphs, charts, presentations and other print/design projects

• Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye in terms of aesthetics

• Collaborate with clients and team members on complex or special projects

• Maintain all job and production tracking data via a propriety Tracking tool

• Coordinate workflow within the team, including prioritizing jobs and delegating duties to offshore operators

• Monitor work flow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately and within deadlines

• Review all incoming work for accuracy and content

• Estimate and assign work to operators / communicate and document all verbally communicated information not already included on work request

• Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues

• Minimum five years' experience in a presentation production environment

• Expert skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Extensive knowledge of specialized applications, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator

• Knowledge of both Macintosh and PC platforms a plus

• Ability to make independent decisions and use problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Job review and estimation skills

• Capacity management shift allocation and planning

• Deadline management which includes managing wait times and turnaround times (TAT)

• Handle technical queries pertaining to the jobs or MS Office

• Support Operations with other performance metrics like quality of work, efficiency of production, utilization

• Prior experience in interacting with direct clients

• Having some exposure to Onsite and Offshore working models is a plus
