Accounts Payable Analyst - Eugene, OR

Seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our large, global team. This role is initially slated as a 12-18 month contract, supporting an established company known for its sustainability and beloved brands.


The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Indirect Accounts Payable for the European region. This position works directly with the company's 3rd party invoice processing provider as the subject matter expert.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone that:

  • Acts as subject matter expert for invoice processing

  • Acts as a liaison between the company's business affiliates and the 3rd party outsource provider

  • Provides training/guidance to 3rd party outsource provider when necessary.

  • Provides ongoing assessment of payables processes and recommends improvements when needed.

  • Can effectively collaborate and work with all levels within the organization

Essential Duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day duties of invoice processing for the European Region, including providing oversight of the company's 3rd party outsourced provider

  • Engage directly with business partners around the globe, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Assist with issue resolution as needed, to include identification of training required

  • Performs outsource provider oversight and 2nd level support including SOP oversight, SLA validation, escalations management, and issue resolution.

  • Provides support for quarterly and yearly audits

Critical Competencies:

  • Experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a large, multi-national company

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and financial database applications Comfortable working in major ERP systems, SAP preferably

  • Have a strong conceptual understanding of Accounts Payable processes.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, both internal and external

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate and present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience

  • Experience with oversight of an outsourced payables provider preferred
