We have an excellent Direct Hire Opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor in Atlanta GA
The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for managing company-wide payroll processes for approximately 29,000 U.S. employees. The Payroll Supervisor will ensure excellent, high quality care and service is provided by their team of Payroll Specialists who work within in a high-volume service center environment. The Payroll Supervisor will have a strong background in payroll administration and people management.
The Payroll Supervisor will maintain and develop staff through managing time and attendance, training and coaching individuals. They will manage their teams workload and conduct regular checks to ensure the quality of service. The Payroll Supervisor will be the main point of contact for escalated issues. The Payroll Supervisor will maintain their team's performance through goal planning, feedback and growth opportunities.
The Payroll Supervisor will also process payroll for all U.S. operations which includes 29,000 employee's across over 50 pay cycles. The Payroll Supervisor will manage garnishments, pay cards, termination pay, updating tax information, benefits, charitable contributions, savings plans, etc. They will also develop and manage the annual payroll calendar.
* 3-5 years of experience in a call center environment * Min. 5 years of experience processing payroll * Knowledge of payroll and tax practices and compliance * 3-5 years of experience leading teams * Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and membership in a professional payroll organization a plus. * Excellent customer service skills * Accounting skills * Strong oral and written communication skills * Interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels * Knowledge of HR and/or case management technologies * PeopleSoft Payroll and Kronos Time and Attendance (or alternative payroll and time tracking technology) experience preferred. * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
