Responsibilities of the Recruiter include:
Responsible for delivering all aspects of recruitment throughout the organization, this includes but is not limited to recruitment, sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, calculation of offers and placement of qualified candidates, both internal and external, for a variety of positions.
Will be responsible for developing, utilizing and implementing recruitment and sourcing strategies by developing a pipelines of qualified candidates for a variety of positions, cultivating creative recruitment ideas, coordinating the development and placement of approved advertising.
Build and maintain relationships with appropriate schools and universities to coordinate and participate in job/career fairs and recruitment events.
Develops and facilitates advertising in local newspapers, trade magazines, college yearbooks, newsletters, etc. Identifies, coordinates and attends recruitment related activities.
Work closely with hiring managers to incorporate consistent, well understood and smooth recruitment process.
Works with managers on staffing/vacancy needs and alternatives; maintains statistics and prepares reports on a quarterly basis for customer group.
Coordinates and facilitates an efficient and engaging employee orientation for new hires in the organization while maintaining changes to the program as needed.
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and adhering to various compensation, recruitment, and retention activities.
Embraces and utilizes available recruitment tools (Taleo, ACE, Job Boards, Lominger, etc.) to ensure a consistent process which results in posting and filling open positions to hire the best possible candidate.
Represents Company at various speaking engagements and/or events.
Qualifications for the Recruiter position include:
Bachelor's degree with an area of study in: Human Resources, Business, Management, Organizational Development or a related field
PHR certification preferred
1 - 3 years of job-related experience in Recruitment or Human Resources
Taleo software and behavioral interviewing experience preferred.
The ability to apply principles, practices, and procedures for recruitment activities. Ability to research and analyze various types of data/information in order to measure recruitment and retention activities and initiatives. PHR certification preferred 1 - 3 years of job-related experience in Recruitment or Human Resources Taleo software and behavioral interviewing experience preferred.
