Training and Development Director - Windsor, CT

Pay Rate/Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00

The Opportunity:

Overview - Working with outside vendors and internal subject matter experts, the Training & Development Director will search for and/or design, facilitate and/or implement methods to train, develop and enhance employee training and performance.

  • This newly created position will add immediate value to the broad scope of our business goals, culture, employee engagement and performance.

  • The Training & Development Director has no direct reports. This position Directs the training and development programs from conception to delivery.

  • Partner with Leadership across business locations to assess strengths and gaps to develop programs.

  • Develop vision and roadmap; design & facilitate leadership development curriculum.

  • Design and facilitate train-the-trainer programs for various programs allowing managers and SMEs to facilitate portions of training sessions.

Background profile:

  • A hands-on expert in company-wide training initiatives and solutions using a wide range of methods including classroom training, demonstration, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences and workshops.

  • 5-10 years' experience in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering industry.

  • Experience assessing organizational needs, making recommendations and implementing programs.

  • Working knowledge of Leadership and Personal Development training and materials.

  • BS in Human Resources or equivalent.

Our benefit package is comprehensive and competitive; compensation will be based on the expertise you bring to this role; travel is required (up to 20%).


7-10 years of experience, Bachelor's Degree, a Passion for Training and Development and a high level of competency to achieve results.
