Customer Service Rep - Concord, CA

  • Assist customers with technical issues related to covered appliances and systems

  • Accurately capture and record claim information into the database

  • Maintain a current understanding of standard operating procedures, processes and policies as provided during training

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of home warranty contract terms and conditions

  • Achieve and maintain call handling, productivity, attendance, and schedule adherence standards

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Receive and process incoming calls from homeowners and vendors according to department policies and procedures


Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a customer service or call center environment preferred. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong work ethic with the ability to meet attendance and schedule adherence requirements. Computer skills in a multi-screen/task environment and working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook.) Ability to type 35+ wpm while talking to a customer through a headset. Must be able to sit for an 8-hour shift. Ability to work evenings, Saturdays and holidays Ability to work both day shift (8 am to 5 pm) and evening shift (1 pm to 10 pm.)
