Patient Accounts Specialist - Melville, NY

Our client currently has an opening for a Patient Accounts Specialist, verifying all PT and OT patients' insurance coverage, verifying benefits, and ensuring all accounts are secured in a timely manner. This position requires great attention to detail, communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to navigate a computer and insurance portals

- A/R follow-up experience is a plus, i.e. hospital, physician, PT and OT billing exposure

- Basic understanding of insurance coverage

- Ability to sort through correspondence and differentiate denials
