We have an immediate need for a Recruiter in NW Houston. Our client is seeking to hire ASAP. If you offer a background in the following industries, we'll love to meet with you: Engineering, Environmental, Construction or for Technical positions.

  • Possess a deep knowledge of the hiring market, competition, industry and the local area and utilize this information to identify and attract pools of talent as well as advise and consult with management teams.

  • Partner with management teams to develop, maintain and execute short term and long term talent sourcing strategies for a variety of requisitions, from non-exempt to senior leadership level hires

  • This role will be responsible for planning and executing consistent, efficient and scalable recruitment processes that deliver top talent from active and passive candidate markets with a high quality candidate experience.

  • Counsel hiring managers on all aspects of the recruiting process and share talent pool insights using data to manage expectations.

  • Perform behavioral, competency and skill-based pre-screen interviews to assess candidate qualifications against agreed upon position requirements and competencies.

  • Initiate and present recruiting updates at weekly and bi-weekly leadership (PR and HM) team meetings

  • Provide excellent ongoing candidate care to all applicants by remaining up to date with all correspondence to candidates in a timely manner.

  • Work with People Business Partners and principals in assigned region to create an annual talent acquisition plan based on business plans, labor projections, project delivery plans, etc.

  • Strategic recruitment planning and delivery to all Principals. Work with People Business Partners and assigned Principals to develop a list of critical qualifications needed for their business line and develop a pipeline of future candidates that meet those criteria.

  • Develop an understanding of key business drivers and provide internal clients with ways to address workforce needs to support those drivers.

  • Determine creative and effective talent acquisition methods to help attract top talent. Be seen as subject matter expert on talent acquisition methods and best use of resources.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field of study. 5 - 10 years of recruiting experience. Experience recruiting in Engineering, Environmental and Construction industry, or exposure in recruiting for technical positions.
