Intermediate Program Manager opportunity available for Enfield, CT based Medical Device manufacturer.
As a Program Manager you are responsible for managing ever-changing R&D and Prototype manufacturing initiatives to established budget and timeline by coordinating the design, development, documentation, schedules, and validation of new and modified customer medical device products.
Organize, track and communicate project status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets.
Serve as primary contact with clients including coordinating worksite visits, conference calls and day-to-day customer communication.
Coordinate the development, validation and documentation of new products and expansion of existing products, including defining requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Proactively monitoring the performance of assigned projects to budget and schedule. Recommend and implement corrective actions.
Oversee the process of ensuring compliance to internal and external client requirements for project completion or testing and manufacturing transfer to commercialization.
Create planning documents to support projects.
Contribute to quality, design, and development activities.
Experience in a highly regulated (aerospace, medical device, life sciences) engineering/manufacturing environment with mechanical, tool design and manufacturing processes preferred.
Strong computer skills, including the MS Office suite and MS Project.
Must be able to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, illustrations, and written documents.
Strong analytical skills, must be able to obtain and evaluate secondary research information.
Knowledge of engineering principles, technical writing, material properties, good tooling practices, and statistics.
Leadership: Must be able to lead discussions, teams and meetings with customers and staff related to job role.
Experience managing programs in a highly regulated (aerospace, medical device, life sciences) engineering/manufacturing environment with mechanical, tool design and manufacturing processes preferred.
