Staffmark is hiring a Customer Service Rep in Columbus, MS! In this role, you will serve customers by providing product and service information. Provide day to day support to an assigned Account Executive and Account Representative with the goal of providing exceptional service to customers while maintaining accurate order entry, and order status requests of the territory.

Job duties include:

  • provide accurate and timely management of the order entry process for the assigned territory
  • address and resolve customer issues via phone, electronis or facsimile
  • develop and employ a high level of product and application knowledge
  • understand and respond to customer delivery needs by interfacing with internal and supplier personnel
  • research required information using available resources
  • promote value added up selling to customers
  • provide customers with accurate and timely product, service and eqipment warranty information
  • maintain all records, reports and files

Proficient with Microsoft Office; possess strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment; demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills. Must be organized and detail oriented. Education and Experience: 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience is required; demonstrated experience (at least 3 years) in a customer service environment is also required. Physical Factors/Working Conditions: Office environment with majority of time spent using computers and office equipment.
