Credit Collections Analyst - Greeneville, TN

Pay Rate/Salary: $11.00 - $13.00

The Credit Collections Analyst is responsible for verification necessary to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner. Determine risk by comparing credit limit to open account balance.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Coordinate collections calls for accounts that are past due
• Analyze risk comparing credit limit to open balance
• Minimize exposure for high risk customers
• Identify disputes on accounts and turn over to resolvers
• Send out welcome information for new accounts
• Fill out credit inquiries for customers
• Deactivate accounts that are not used within a year
• Prepare accounts for litigation if all efforts are exhausted
• Prepare aging's and reprint invoices
• Pull back up for items that customers request
• Contact customers for remittance information for cash application purposes
• Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED required and College Degree preferred Computer skills Excel Worksheet knowledge preferred Microsoft Outlook and work knowledge preferred Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors; and customers Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion Working knowledge of how to identify risk for the company Ability to acquire working knowledge of trucking industry Ability to acquire working knowledge of company practices, methods and resources made available Skills: Ideal candidate will possess a "can do" attitude with a "will do" work ethic Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment Experience with AS400 operating systems is a plus Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus
