  • Cooperates fully with team members in the performance of basic job responsibilities in a team environment and contributes willingly to the team as outlined in the roles and responsibilities of team members.

  • Communicates with customers, suppliers, customer service, and production.

  • Reads and understands internal job instructions and shipping requirements.

  • Trains and develops personnel.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of procedures and team meetings.

  • Cleans, sweeps, and organizes assigned work area.

  • Performs special projects and works across team boundaries as required.

    Specific Responsibilities

    In executing specific responsibilities, an employee may be expected to perform the following essential functions as well as other tasks as may be assigned.

  • Provide all necessary support to sales or customers. 'Support' can include the following: receive calls, faxes, mail, and email; identify and resolve customer problems and issues in a timely manner.

  • Handle customer and operational concerns/issues as needed (i.e. dispute management, invoice reconciliation, etc)

  • Provide proof of delivery and order status upon request.

  • Process orders and change notices (also includes obtaining delivery special promises and special freight quotes) in related systems as required.

  • Coordinate all corrections and/or changes that occur during work-in process through written and/or verbal instructions.

  • Data entry responsibilities, setting up new items, managing inventory or investigating discrepancies

  • Act as a communication link between internal customer and all internal departments.

  • Coordinates, schedules and prioritizes jobs/orders/demand with Crewing Coordinators.

  • Effectively sorts customer orders ensuring that all orders meet SLA's.

  • Schedules shipments with various carriers.

  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

HS diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job, or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements. Requires very good knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes key to successfully executing and completing the more progressive/complex duties of the job. Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and the impact work has on a department or the company. Must have very good knowledge of technology to include computers and software programs such as MS Office or MAC word processing, spreadsheets or other programs specific to the job in order to complete duties successfully. Requires good knowledge of multiple functions or areas of the business in which there is frequent contact while completing daily work assignments of the job. Must have very good oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain departmental policy, methods and/or procedures when completing assignments. Requires very good organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and ability to coordinate phases of work with others.
