Founded in 1995, our client is a New York-based alternative investment management firm, which currently manages over $20 billion.
This individual will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director and the Human Resources team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: supporting the onboarding, offboarding and transfer processes; benefits and payroll administration; HRIS administration and reporting; managing the gift matching program; project management. Administrative responsibilities will include but are not limited to: maintaining employee and vendor information; updating the intranet and departmental org charts; processing of monthly invoices and expense reports; overseeing calendars; vacation tracking; answering HR phone lines; filing.
REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree required - 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in finance industry/HR - Exceptional project management skills - Some experience with benefits and payroll administration - Extremely organized with strong attention to detail - Proactive and takes initiative; anticipates needs of the team - Exceptional work ethic, teamwork, time management and follow up skills - Able to work well under pressure, multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume demanding environment - Able to take direction, prioritize and follow through - Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills - Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
